mangakachan:

I actually went and did it! Or at least, the first 8 or so pages of it. Dual drawing and editing on SAI and Photoshop has definitely made the whole process a lot faster than if I were to draw each page by hand then scan them.

I hope to continue and draw the rest of this story, though the ending is still a vague mess inside my head, and there’s always the ever-present possibility that my Muse will wake up tomorrow and say, “That’s it! Let’s find something else to do!” But I’ll keep drawing as long as she’s willing to cooperate. ^^

And…that’s it for now. There is a remote possibility that if I actually finish the whole story I might publishing a physical doujinshi, but I do want to remain in Kodansha USA’s good-graces so we’ll see.

“Spock and Kirk…They’re two halves of almost the same person in many ways. Kirk is the heart and the gut and the soul and the passion and the impulsiveness. And Spock is that kind of cold logic and reason. (…) And I think both Spock and Kirk have something to learn from one another.” - Chris Pine
